Confirmation of Bookings

After the bookings made through our website are confirmed by us, a voucher is sent to you by e-mail. After you receive the voucher, you need to check your reservation information and send us confirmation by e-mail.


How do I know if my car reservation has been confirmed?

Confirmation information is sent to the e-mail address specified during the rental process of all our guests who have made a car rental transaction via www.realcarrental.co.uk. For this reason, it is important that our guests submit all their information completely and accurately at the time of booking.


I want to make changes to my reservation, how can I do it?

In your confirmed reservations, transactions such as changing the vehicle group or adding additional services cannot be made via realcarrental.co.uk. Changes or cancellations related to your reservation must be made via e-mail at least 7 days before. Guests who wish to make changes to their reservation should contact our contact number +90 534 768 8099, our e-mail address info@realcarrental.co.uk or our relevant office. For change rules, you can review the Real Car Rental rental agreement document.

Additional services for car hire reservation

You can add additional services to your car rental during your reservation on our realcarrental.co.uk website, +90 5347688099 contact number or info@realcarrental.co.uk e-mail address. These additional services are services such as HGS, Additional KM package, Baby Seat, Child Seat, Booster Seat, Additional Driver etc. You can contact us to get more detailed information about these services. 


What is the shortest rental period, can I rent by the hour?

The shortest car hire period is 5 days. For rentals less than 5 days, a 5-day rental fee is charged.

How can I pay?

You can pay in cash or by credit card (Visa & Mastercard) at the vehicle delivery. Cash payment can be made in Turkish Lira, Euro, US Dollar or British Pound.

I do not have a credit card / my card limit is insufficient, can I pay with someone else's credit card?
Credit card is mandatory for car hire transactions. Due to our security rules, for car hire services made through all our booking channels, the driver information and the credit card information must match.


Can I pay in instalments?

No, we do not offer instalments for car rental transactions.


When is the provision (blockage, deposit) placed on my credit card when renting a car refunded?

Provision (deposit), following the end of the rental; If any, toll highways and bridge crossings, missing fuel, daily km limit exceeding and damage costs are calculated and the remaining amount is refunded. If these amounts are not available, the full amount of the provision fee is sent to the bank to which our guests' credit card is connected for refund. Provision refund is reflected on the credit card of our guests within 1 to 20 business days, depending on interbank transactions and taking into account official holidays.


How can I pick up the car I have booked?

Booking information is instantly sent to the offices where our guests have made their selections. It is enough to go to our relevant office with your reservation information. We kindly ask you to have your Turkish ID/Passport, driving licence and credit card (2 for upper segment vehicles) with you.


Driving Licence, Rental Age and Additional Drivers

Persons over 21 years of age with a driving licence valid for at least 2 years with national or international validity can rent economy class vehicles. For minibuses and upper group vehicles, it is required to have a 3-year driving licence and to be over 25 years old.

It is possible for the vehicle to be used by persons other than the lessor. Registration of additional drivers must be made at the beginning of the rental. Additional driver conditions are the same as the conditions in the Driver's Licence and Rental Age Restrictions.


How do I collect the car I have booked?

It will be sufficient to be present at the office or location you have chosen for delivery at the time you have specified at the time of booking. In case you pick up the vehicle at the airport; After taking your luggage, you will be greeted with a signboard with your name written on it in the passenger welcome section outside the terminal building. We kindly ask you to have your Turkish ID/Passport, driving licence and credit card (2 for upper segment vehicles) with you. You can take delivery of your vehicle after filling out the Vehicle Delivery Form next to your vehicle ready in the car park. 


What should I pay attention to when taking delivery of the car I rented?

Before signing the delivery report showing that the vehicle has been delivered to you; check the mileage of the vehicle, determine the defects and damages, if any, together with our authorised friend and make sure that they are correctly recorded in the report. You can also get information about the safety equipment and accessories of the vehicle you rented from our authorised colleagues.


How can I cancel my reservation?

You can send your reservation cancellation request by entering your reservation number, e-mail address and reason for cancellation via https://www.realcarrental.co.uk. You can also cancel your reservation via our e-mail address info@realcarrental.co.uk or our contact number +90 534 7688099.


What can I do if the car delivered to me and the car I rented are different brands?

We make your reservations according to vehicle groups, not brands and models. Although we show vehicles to our customers who make reservations through realcarrental.co.uk and our mobile site within our fleet possibilities, we cannot guarantee the brand. On the pick-up day specified by our guests, if we cannot provide a vehicle available in the vehicle group they want, the vehicle available in the next group is provided without a price difference if your age and driving licence age limits comply with the vehicle group conditions.


Can I return the vehicle to a different location than the location where I took delivery?

You can return the vehicle at a different location than the location received during the booking on our website. If the rented vehicle is returned at a different location, a one-way fee is charged. 

How can I return the car I rented?

It is sufficient to go with the vehicle to the office or location you have chosen for return during the booking process. If you return the vehicle at the airport, our company employee will meet you in front of the airport departure terminal gate and will take delivery after checking the vehicle.


Can I return my car later than the specified return date/time?

We kindly ask our guests who will experience a delay in the delivery of the vehicle to inform the office they specified as the return office when renting the vehicle. Depending on the duration of the delay, our guests may be charged a delay fee. In cases where the delay exceeds 1 hour, a one-day rental fee is charged. What should I do if I have an accident?

Our guests are required to provide information by contacting the authorised persons on +90 534 768 80 99. If our guests hit the stopped vehicle or if our vehicle is hit by third parties while it is parked; accident, theft and alcohol detection reports should be obtained by applying to the nearest police or gendarmerie station without changing the location of the vehicle. In case of a collision; if there is at least one of the following conditions: driving a motor vehicle without a driver's licence, the driver is underage, the driver is suspected of alcohol or mental health, one of the vehicles involved in the accident belongs to public institutions, damage to property belonging to public institutions, damage to property belonging only to third parties, one of the vehicles involved in the accident does not have traffic insurance, the accident results in death or bodily harm, accident, theft and alcohol detection reports should be obtained by applying to the nearest police or gendarmerie station without changing the location of the vehicle. In case of a collision, if none of the above-mentioned items have occurred, our guests are required to keep a Material Damage Accident Report according to the way the accident occurred.


Will the costs be reflected to me when the vehicle I rented breaks down?

The costs for the days the vehicle spends in repair are not reflected to our guests. However, all kinds of damages, material and moral losses that may arise from the failure of our guests to comply with the traffic laws and regulations in force are covered by our guests.


What should I do if a traffic fine is issued on the licence plate of the vehicle I rented?

Traffic fines written on the licence plates of our vehicles are notified to us as Real Car Rental. The fines notified to us by the Ministry of Finance are collected from the credit card submitted by our guests during the rental process. The fines notified to us are reflected to our guests by adding a service fee. For detailed information, you can review our rental agreement.


What should I do when a traffic fine is issued to my ID number?

Fines written on the T.R. ID number must be paid directly by our guests.

Do your vehicles have traffic insurance and motor insurance?

All of our vehicles in our fleet have traffic insurance and motor insurance.


What is Super Assurance Insurance (CDW)? Why should I get Super Assurance Insurance (CDW)?

Super Assurance Insurance (CDW) provides the right to cover any material damage that may occur on the vehicle, up to 4500 TL, with a Material Damage Accident Report Report obtained from the Police or Gendarmerie. Repair fees within these limits will not be reflected to our guests who benefit from Super Security Insurance (CDW). You can add Super Insurance Insurance (CDW) to your reservation by selecting it from the "Guarantees" section that appears after selecting the vehicle on the reservation page. What is Tire, Glass and Headlight insurance? Why should I buy Tire, Glass and Headlight insurance?

Our standard insurance on all vehicles in our fleet does not cover damage to tires, glass and headlights. Our guests who benefit from tire, glass and headlight insurance will not be charged for any damage caused to these parts. You can add our Tire, Glass and Headlight insurance to your reservation by selecting it from the "Extra Services" section that appears after selecting the vehicle on the reservation page. Is there a mileage limit on your vehicles?

We have a mileage limit application. You can review the Real Car Rental rental contract details to get information about our mileage limit application.

What kind of application do you have in cases where I exceed the daily mileage limit?

For guests who exceed the daily mileage limit, an additional mileage fee may be reflected in the daily rental fee. The amount of distance traveled by vehicles; It is determined by reading the speedometer placed on vehicles by manufacturing companies.

Can a different person use the vehicle I rented?

The rental agreement is made with the person renting the vehicle. Depending on the contract, all insurance and assurance conditions of the vehicle include the information of the person renting the vehicle. In case a person whose information is not included in the rental contract becomes a party to an accident with material or moral damage as a driver; All insurance and guarantees are deemed invalid and both the person renting the vehicle and the people involved in the accident are held responsible for the accident.I encounter different prices for the same vehicle group at different times.


What is your pricing policy?

Our prices; It is determined by taking into account criteria such as market structure, service quality, demand and density. Remember, your reservation will be more advantageous if you book early.


Can I travel abroad with the car I rent?

It is not possible to go abroad with the car you rent.
